Prof. Zhenan Bao

Dr. Bao is a renowned chemical engineer and material scientist. She is the K.K. Lee Professor in Chemical Engineering and the Chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University, as well as the Founding Director of the Stanford Wearable Electronics Initiative (eWEAR). Dr. Bao has published over700 refereed publications and more than 100 US patents and is regarded as one of the most highly cited scientists in the world with over 127,000 citations. She has received numerus awards, including the Royal Society of Chemistry Beilby Medal and the L'Oreal UNESCO Women in Science Award North America Laureate, as well as was elected to the National Academy of Engineering, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Inventors.
